Today I got to chaperone the 1st
grade field trip to PVCC's Cinderella. The bus trip from Orange to PVCC was
loud and fun. The picnic at the Art building's pond (with baby Canada geese)
was shady and breezy. The production delighted the children, who laughed,
shrieked and clapped in all the right places. Best was the bus trip home.
Jackson fell asleep on my side. Across the bus aisle, a serious theological
discussion ensued between a lively little girl and her two boy seatmates. I
missed much of what they said, but clearly heard her clear and indignant voice
saying "God is NOT fat!" I love first graders.
